“Preparation, I have often said, is rightly two-thirds of any venture.” Amelia Earhart
It was Amelia’s preparation that allowed her to achieve so much of her success.
“He who fails to plan is planning to fail.” Winston Churchill
Marriage can “rightly” be related to a great venture and even at times a great war. It may have been a good idea to fill up that gas tank before heading towards the stratosphere “honeymoon”. You may have also benefited from packing a parachute when you realize you ran out of gas.
A little planning and preparation helps you deal with life, because life comes whether you are ready for it or not.
Think of premarital therapy and counseling as getting one more opportunity to grab your parachute and to fill up your gas tank before launching into the great venture or should I say adventure of marriage.
